Mrs. Hedges received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish from the University of Wisconsin- Madison, where she completed a study abroad in Oaxaca, Mexico. She also has a Master of Arts degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Phoenix. This is her first year teaching Spanish and Art at St. John's and her 13th year as a classroom educator. She has also taught Spanish at the middle and high school level.

Mrs. Hedges appreciates the small, caring, family community that exists here. She also appreciates the values and politeness that are instilled in the students at St. John's.
